Sophia Lau

Sophia Lau has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sophia started their career as an Illinois PGA GolfWorks Intern at Bryn Mawr Country Club in 2017. In 2019, Sophia worked as a Computer Science Instructor at Juni Learning and also held positions as a Housing Sustainability Assistant and an Autonomous Robotic Delivery Systems Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2020, they gained experience as a Software Developer Intern at Grant Street Group. The following year, Sophia served as a College Summer Intern in the Power Generation Division at NextEra Energy, Inc. Sophia then worked as a Software Engineer at View, Inc. from 2022 to 2022. Currently, Sophia is employed as a Software Engineer at Clean Power Research, where they started in 2023.

Sophia Lau attended Glenbrook South High School from 2014 to 2018. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University from 2018 to 2022.
