Caitlin Carnes

Caitlin Carnes, CFA, currently serves as the Director of Finance for Generation at CleanChoice Energy, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Caitlin was the Director of Capital Markets at Copia Power from May 2023 to October 2024. Previous experience includes extensive project finance management at New Columbia Solar, where Caitlin held the roles of Director, Manager, and Senior Associate from February 2020 to May 2023. At The Carlyle Group, Caitlin worked as a Manager and Analyst from August 2017 to February 2020, contributing to transaction execution and investor reporting for their power and renewable energy funds. Earlier career milestones include a Junior Investor Relations Manager position at DIC Asset AG, as well as internships at Deutsche Bank, AFSCME Local 3299, Deutscher Bundestag, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Caitlin obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and also studied at Universität Erfurt.
