Paul Toranzo

Paul Toranzo has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with senior leadership roles at CleanSky Energy and Genie Energy. Paul served as Senior Vice President of Mass Market Sales & Development at CleanSky Energy from April 2022 onwards. Prior to that, they were Vice President of Mass Marketing & Development at the same company from January 2020 to March 2022. At Genie Energy, Paul held the position of Vice President of Residential Sales & Development from June 2015 to June 2019. Before that, they served as Director of Sales & Sales Support from October 2011 to June 2015.

In addition to their energy industry experience, Paul also worked as an Executive Energy Consultant at Retail Energy Professional from June 2019 to December 2019. Before entering the energy industry, they had roles at Gateway Energy Services Corporation as Manager of Sales Support from October 2007 to October 2011, Training Manager from June 2005 to October 2007, Channel Sales Manager from June 2004 to June 2005, and Telemarketing Supervisor from June 2002 to June 2004.

Prior to their career in the private sector, Paul served as a Petty Officer in the US Navy from July 1989 to June 1996.

Paul Toranzo pursued their education with a focus on organizational leadership and business marketing. From 2004 to 2006, they attended Rockland Community College and completed an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Business Marketing. Subsequently, they enrolled at Fordham University from 2009 to 2011 and attained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership. Continuing their educational journey, Paul pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Energy Management from the University of Phoenix between 2012 and 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a Project Management Certification from the University of Miami in May 2021.
