Wesam Elshiekh

Wesam Elshiekh has extensive experience in application development and management roles. Wesam currently serves as the Director of Application Development and Business Intelligence at CleanSlate Centers, where they have established a vision and strategy for the department and built a team to execute it. Wesam has also worked as a Lead/Manager Application Developer at CleanSlate, leading the development of their next-generation EMR system.

Prior to CleanSlate, Wesam served as an Advanced Product Solutions Developer at HealthStream, an Application Developer, Senior at Informatics Corporation of America, and a Consultant at Huntington National Bank, Information Control Corporation, and Fiserv. In these roles, they developed various applications, designed distributed systems, and optimized performance.

Wesam began their career as a Software Developer III at AH Computer Consulting, Inc., where they computerized processes in the fiber industry using Microsoft Dynamic CRM. Wesam also worked as a Software Engineer at ITWorx. Before entering the industry, Wesam earned a master's degree from Maharishi University of Management, specializing in computer science.

Wesam Elshiekh has a Bachelor's degree in System and Computer Engineering from Al-Azhar University, which was obtained in 2007. Wesam then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Maharishi International University and completed it in 2014. Later, Wesam obtained a Master's degree in Managing Information Technology from Sullivan University in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various computer programming and development skills from Pluralsight.
