Jasper Johnson

Jasper Johnson is the Regional President of Clear Channel Outdoor-Southeast, Jasper (JJ) Johnson has direct responsibility for Daytona Beach, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Ocala, Orlando, Tampa Bay and West Palm Beach/Fort Pierce markets. He oversees all sales, marketing, real estate, public affairs and operations across the region.

Johnson has over 30 years of experience in the out-of-home (OOH) industry. He began his m in 1981 with ET Legg, Inc. as a bill poster and pictorial painter. In 1983, Johnson joined Empire Outdoor, the eight-sheet division of Ackerley Media (AK Media), as a Lease Representative. Johnson was soon promoted to Regional Real Estate Manager in the South Florida Market. He later accepted the position of National/Local Sales Account Manager for AK Media’s Junior Poster Division, focusing on major multicultural corporations and advertising agencies in South Florida, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, and Los Angeles.

In 1990, Johnson became the National Account Director of AK Media where he promoted the South Florida market and their outdoor assets to media buyers across the Eastern Region of the U.S. Johnson was promoted to Vice President/Sales Manager in 2000, where he managed all sales and marketing for the South Florida Division. Johnson was appointed President and General Manager of Clear Channel Outdoor for South Florida in 2004.

Johnson currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Kingdom Life Community Services Inc. 501(c)(3), a non-profit social and human services organization dedicated to assisting families and individuals in achieving independent lives. He is also an active participant in the Javanna Productions M.O.V.E. 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for social causes and community projects via artistic productions.
