Oscar Mercado Becerra

Oscar Mercado Becerra has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Oscar started their career in 1999 as a Production Supervisor at Acme Electric Manufacturing of Mexico. Oscar then progressed to the role of Production Senior Supervisor before becoming a Senior Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Engineer at Acme Electric Manufacturing of Mexico.

In 2002, Oscar joined Acme Electric Manufacturing of México again, this time as a Senior Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Engineer. Oscar administered product line transfers and successfully implemented the Quality System ISO 9000:2000.

Oscar joined Cemex Mexico in 2004, where they held the positions of BFC Operations Coordinator and Pacific Northeast Regional Coordinator. Oscar managed and coordinated transportation units and oversaw budget implementation and cost reduction efforts.

In 2010, Oscar worked as a Project & Maintenance Leader at Acme Electric Manufacturing of Mexico. Oscar then joined Actuant Corporation in 2011, where they held roles as a Factory Focus Manager for AMVECO and a LEAD Coordinator & FFL 701 and 702. Oscar was responsible for continuous improvement activities, team leadership, and inventory management.

Oscar joined Power Prodcucts LL in 2013 as an SSMA & Continuous Improvement Coordinator, managing continuous improvement initiatives and coordinating activities for the Monterrey plant.

In 2014, Oscar became a Production Manager at Luvata, where they were responsible for overseeing production operations.

In 2016, Oscar joined ALP Lighting Components as a Technical Manager, contributing their technical expertise.

Oscar's current position is at Clear Edge Filtration since 2017. Oscar initially served as a Plant Manager and is currently appointed as the Operations Director for the Americas.

Throughout their career, Oscar has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and implement quality systems.

Oscar Mercado Becerra attended FIME UANL from 1994 to 1999, obtaining a degree in Bachelor of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Oscar also studied Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon during the same period. Oscar has additional certifications in Executive Leadership from IDESAA Escuela de Negocios.
