Derek Gottfrid

Derek Gottfrid is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in product development and engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President of Product at CLEAR since May 2021, Derek also holds advisory roles at Paxos and timehop. Notably, Derek co-founded Caisson and founded Umi Kitchen, further showcasing a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Previous positions include serving as VP of Product & Engineering and Director of Product at Tumblr, as well as a Senior Software Architect and Product Technologist at The New York Times. Derek holds a degree from Boston University.
