Shahzad Khawaja

Shahzad Khawaja, CPA, currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit and Controls at CLEAR since June 2021. Previously, Shahzad held the position of Chief Audit Executive at Xerox from May 2019 to June 2021, overseeing global internal audit operations. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Audit Executive at Providence Service Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed internal audit functions and SOX leadership, and Vice President of Internal Audit at Booking Holdings, where Shahzad founded the internal audit function and managed enterprise risk. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Pitney Bowes, PepsiCo, Ernst & Young, and Abdullah & Company, CPAs. Shahzad holds a BA in Accounting and Information Systems and Economics from Queens College.
