Eric Simone

Eric Simone is the Co-Founder and CEO at ClearBlade. Prior to this, they were the Founder/CEO at Compete Incorporated and Senior Programmer at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Simone has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Eric started their career as a Senior Programmer at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then went on to found their own company, Compete Incorporated. While at Compete, Simone led the company through its transition from Plumtree to IBM technology in the Enterprise Portal business arena. This resulted in $5M of new business in 2002. Eric also built a direct sales team responsible for creating over $10M in consulting revenue across various practices.

In 2000, Simone joined Perficient as Managing Director of the Enterprise Solutions practice. Here they oversaw a team of 20 consultants focused on mainframe based eBusiness solutions. In this role, they successfully generated over $4M in consulting revenue in 2000. Eric left Perficient in 2003 to start ClearBlade, Inc.

Simone has a proven track record of success in the technology industry. Eric is an expert in leading companies through transitions and building direct sales teams. Eric's experience with mainframe based eBusiness solutions makes him uniquely qualified to lead ClearBlade as it continues to grow and scale.

Eric Simone has a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University and a HS from Libertyville High School. Eric is a distinguished alumni of Purdue University.
