David Higginbotham

David Higginbotham has over 24 years of work experience in software development and consulting roles. Their most recent position is the Director of Software Development at Clearent, where they have been since October 2020. Prior to that, they held roles as a Senior Software Developer and Mid Level Developer at Clearent starting in 2018 and 2015 respectively.

Before joining Clearent, David founded 5BY5WARE LLC in 2013, where they recently finished a responsive website project called thankpeople.com using Twitter Bootstrap.

Additionally, David worked at Meridian Enterprises as a Java/Web Developer from 2011 to 2013, supporting clients such as Panasonic and Anki. David was also a Java Developer at Iron Data Solutions from 2007 to 2011, where they contributed to a government product.

David's earlier experience includes working as a Programmer/Analyst at I. Levy & Associates from 2001 to 2007, focusing on software solutions for the government. David also worked as a Consultant at General American in 2000, Jeld-Wen and Argus in 2000, and G.E. Capital Mortgage from 1997 to 2000.

In 1996, David started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at Express Scripts, where they played a key role in introducing software for managing vision benefits.

David Higginbotham obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their degree, they have also received several certifications including "try-sql" from Code School in April 2015. It is unknown when they obtained certifications in "Staying Sharp With AngularJS," "The Magical Marvels of MongoDB," "Try Git," and "shaping-up-with-angular-js" from Code School.
