Lauren Pitzer has a diverse work experience. Lauren began their career in 2019 as a Dining Hall Hasher and Theme Park Facilitator. In 2019, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Engineering, where they worked with a PhD student on modeling the vine robot in mechatronics lab. In 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University, a Research Assistant at Stanford University Graduate School of Education, and a Tech Intern/Mentor at Heirs To Our Oceans, where they assisted film experts in organization and trouble-shooting camera and film, and mentored kids around the world remotely via Zoom as a guardian and tutor for environmental activism. In 2021, they worked as a Math and Science Tutor and a Swimming Instructor. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer at ClearFlame Engine Technologies.

Lauren Pitzer attended Stanford University from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Mechanical Engineering. Lauren then continued their studies at Stanford University and is currently in the process of obtaining a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
