Luke Slaney

Luke Slaney has a diverse work experience in the fields of people and talent management, recruitment, and consultancy. Luke is currently serving as the Head of People and Talent at ClearGlass since June 2021. Previously, Luke worked at Simply Business, where they held the roles of People Partner and Talent Partner from February 2020 to June 2021 and from May 2019 to February 2020, respectively. At Simply Business, they strategically partnered with various leaders and executed people strategies aligned with the company's goals. Luke also established strong relationships with hiring managers and implemented recruitment projects. Prior to that, Luke worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at ComplyAdvantage from September 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they were responsible for recruitment in Product, Design, and other areas, focusing on candidate experience and hiring strategies. Before joining ComplyAdvantage, Luke served as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Xcede from November 2017 to September 2018 and as a Product Management Recruitment Consultant from August 2016 to September 2018. Luke began their career at Saxton Leigh as a Finance & Accounting Recruitment Consultant from June 2015 to August 2016.

Luke Slaney completed their education with a focus on History and English Literature at Canterbury Christ Church University from 2012 to 2015. In 2020, they pursued further education in the form of the Business Partnering Programme through CIPD Qualifications.
