Sharon Prill is the current Chief Operating Officer at The Penny Hoarder. Sharon has previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Vitalware and as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at The Seattle Times. Ms. Prill has also worked as the SVP & General Manager at Journalinteractive.com and as the SVP Digital Media Group & Corp Marketing at Journal Sentinel, Inc. Publishing Division of Journal Communications. Her earliest experience in the field was as the Director of Digital Media at McClatchy, where they worked from 2003-2005.

Sharon Prill has a Bachelor's degree in Politics & Economy from the University of Washington. Sharon also has a certification in Project Management from the University of Washington. Sharon has completed the Advance Executive Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and the Executive Program in New Product Innovation, Development and Implementation Strategies at the University of Chicago. Sharon is currently completing the MTC Media Management Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
