Sr. Manufacturing and Process Engineer at ClearMotion

Matthew July has held various positions in the automotive industry since 2005. Matthew began their career as a Co-Op at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. in 2005, where they provided advanced metrology support, supported warranty investigations through testing, and maintained the gage calibration schedule. In 2007, they joined Keihin Michigan Manufacturing LLC as a Quality Engineer, where they developed PFMEAs, control plans, and process documents for quality assurance, interfaced with customers on process development to ensure quality assurance goals and requirements were met, and led responses to external and internal defect detections. In 2011, they moved to Ford Motor Company as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they procured and co-developed assembly line equipment with OEMs from pre-program handoff to transfer of equipment to plant, managed program development including timing, cost, and equipment performance metrics, and developed equipment specifications while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure all targets were met. Matthew July has been a Sr. Manufacturing and Process Engineer at ClearMotion since 2016.

Matthew July attended Kettering University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering.
