Jeff Kaden has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jeff began their career at Clearsense, LLC, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, they managed the design and construction of AWS and Azure environments, provided leadership to the infosec team, and ensured compliance with various industry standards.

Following their tenure at Clearsense, LLC, Jeff joined Stony Brook University as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Health Sciences department. Jeff then moved to Stony Brook Medicine, where they acted as a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager. Here, they successfully oversaw the recovery and management of all IT infrastructure projects, including the development of two new hospital wings.

Prior to their roles at Stony Brook, Jeff worked at UC Irvine Medical Center as an IT Project Manager. In this position, they excelled in rescuing troubled or high-risk projects and implementing recovery strategies.

Additionally, Jeff gained valuable experience as an Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate, where they volunteered as a first responder and assisted those in need, working closely with other first responders and experienced medical personnel.

Throughout their career, Jeff has acquired several certifications, including MSIT, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CDPSE, QTE, and PMP, demonstrating their expertise in the field.

Jeff Kaden holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech, which they obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a UCI Certificate Program in Project Management at UC Irvine from 2012 to 2013. Jeff also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, obtained between 2004 and 2008. In addition to their academic achievements, Jeff has obtained various certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ITIL v3, and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
