Lucy McGovern

Lucy McGovern has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Lucy currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Clearview Energy, where they support the president in improving business processes, expanding visibility, and retaining the client base. Lucy joined Clearview Energy in May 2019.

Prior to their current role, Lucy worked as the Executive Director at the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) from April 2015 to October 2018. Lucy was responsible for fundraising for the organization's U.S. office.

From November 2010 to March 2015, Lucy worked at Oxfam America as a Senior Funding Advisor for Humanitarian Response. Lucy was later promoted to the role of Development Officer from January 2008 to October 2010. During their time at Oxfam America, they raised significant funds, cultivated relationships with foundations and corporate donors, and represented the organization at various events and meetings.

Before joining Oxfam America, Lucy held various positions in different organizations such as Cleaview Electric, The Food Project, and Society of African Missions. Lucy also gained experience at Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton as a Litigation Support Consultant.

Lucy McGovern completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Lucy further pursued their studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 1994 and 1996. Additionally, in January 2019, they obtained a certification in CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) from CFRE International.
