Mark Smith has over three decades of experience in the seafood and maritime industries, currently serving as Manager of Fleet - Joint Venture Operations at Clearwater Seafoods LP since June 2006. Smith has held various roles at Clearwater, including Vessel Manager and Technical Project Manager for vessel conversion projects, demonstrating expertise in managing vessel operations, overseeing project progress, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Officer at Clearwater and a Deckhand on the Bluenose II for the NS Department of Tourism. Smith's education includes studies at Marine Institute in St. John's, NL, Acadia University, and Chester Municipal High School in Chester, N.S.
