Mike Neal

Mike Neal has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mike started their career at SDGblue, LLC as a Solutions Consultant and Project Manager in the healthcare sector, where they focused on information security and compliance. Mike then joined Software Information Systems, LLC as a Services Architect and Project Manager, working on different projects to assess customer needs and develop solutions strategies. After that, Mike worked at Clearwater Compliance LLC as a Principal Consultant, specializing in HIPAA consulting and risk assessment. Mike also served as the Principal Consultant and President at MINT Consulting, Inc., providing consulting services to clients. Mike then joined SDGblue, LLC again, this time as the vCIO/vCISO Practice Lead, offering IT consulting services in regulated industries. Mike later worked at Crowe Horwath LLP as a Risk Consulting Manager for a brief period before joining White House Clinics as the Chief Information Officer. During their tenure at White House Clinics, they served as the Principal Lead Consultant at World Wide Technology until joining Clearwater in 2022 as a Principal Consultant and vCISO. Additionally, Mike has experience in the education sector as the Head Golf Coach at Madison Central High School, where they led the girls' golf program and achieved notable successes. Mike Neal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Systems / Business from Georgetown College, which they attended from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they obtained several certifications including Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA in October 2014, HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) from (ISC)² in March 2014, and HCISPP from ISC2 in December 2013.
