Christian Schafer

CHRISTIAN SCHAFER is the General Counsel for Trinity Health Corporation at St. Joseph Ann Arbor and Livingston, IHA. Christian graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in law and graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS degree in political science. Christian worked his way from a Law Clerk at U of M Health System Legal Office, to Regulatory Attorney & Compliance Officer at M-CARE, Manager of Legal Services for Battle Creek Health System, and Associate Counsel for the Trinity Health Corporate Legal Team. Christian has served on both the Governing Board and the Advisory Board for Gift of Life Michigan, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Avia Legal Catalyst Council for Technology Innovation. He is currently a member of the AAA Health Care Dispute Resolution Advisory Council and a council member for the State Bar of Michigan, Health Law Section. Trustee from 2020 to present.
