David W. Barfield

DAVID W. BARFIELD is responsible for the leadership and strategic expansion of BarPellam, Inc., a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) specializing in managing large, complex contingent workforce solutions for customers throughout North America. BarPellam was established in 2015 and is in partnership with UK-based Impellam Group following their acquisition of privately-held, Bartech Group, Inc. where he served as the company’s President & Chief Executive Officer. Recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) and HRO Today as one of the Staffing industry’s most influential executives, David has leveraged innovation, process improvement, supply chain, enabling technology and risk strategies to deliver greater efficiencies, flexibility and control across a broad range of talent solutions globally. Since 2012, David has served as a Board member of Business Leaders for Michigan, a business roundtable comprised of leaders from the Michigan’s largest employers focused on improving the overall competitiveness of the State. David also serves as a Trustee for Cleary University and on the Board of Directors for The Nature Conservancy (MI Chapter), the Detroit Regional Chamber and the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC) dedicated to advocating for increased procurement opportunities for African American, Hispanic, Asian and Native American businesses in the global corporate supply chain. David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Business School.
