Walter Scherz

Walter Scherz currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Management Board at Franke Group, overseeing operations for over 60 companies globally and generating annual revenue of CHF 2.5 billion. In addition, Walter Scherz holds positions as a Stiftungsrat for Stiftung Behindertenbetriebe Uri and Zürcherische Winkelriedstiftung, and as Verwaltungsratspräsident at COMED AG. Previously, Walter Scherz was the Group Chief Financial Officer at Datwyler Group, where responsibilities included significant leadership roles within various subsidiaries and oversight of substantial revenue generation. Prior experience includes a senior management role at KPMG, specializing in IFRS and US GAAP. Walter Scherz holds a Master of Arts in Finance and Capital Markets from the University of St.Gallen.
