Jesse Vargas

Jesse Vargas is the Head of Research & Pre-Clinical Development at Cleave Therapeutics. Jesse has also worked as a Staff Scientist-Microscopy and Director of SDCSB Light Microscopy Core at UCLA and as Vice President For Academic Affairs / Graduate Department Representative at UC San Diego. Vargas has played an instrumental role in the publication of several research manuscripts in immune response signaling and computational systems biology.

Jesse Vargas received a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from UC San Diego, an M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and B.S. degrees in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from UC Irvine. Jesse also has a certification from the College Reading & Learning Association in CRLA IMTPC and another certification from the College Reading & Learning Association in CRLA ITTPC.
