Andrei Mander is a Senior Scientist and Research Professor at Clemson University's Energy Innovation Center, overseeing high-level technical support for Test Center operations and supporting team development and budget optimization since November 2012. Previously, Mander served as Operations Director for the Wind Turbine Drivetrain Test Center, where commissioning and operation of significant wind drivetrain test capabilities were key responsibilities. At Vestas, from October 2008 to October 2012, Mander advanced through various roles, culminating as Director of Testing and Validation, managing a department of over 30 staff and overseeing the testing of power generation systems in wind turbines. Mander's earlier experience includes technical positions in aerospace research, focusing on vibration control and product testing, as well as technology management and engineering roles in both the aerospace and automotive sectors, where Andrei managed engineering teams and conducted prototype testing of advanced feedback control systems. Mander holds a PhD in Engineering from Belarus State University MRTI.
