Kirby Player

Kirby Player has extensive experience in agricultural education and extension services, currently serving as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Extension Advancement Council and as a lecturer in Ag Education at Clemson University's College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences since February 1989. Additional roles include Director of Palmetto LEAF and Director of College Relations for CAFLS. Player holds a PhD in Recreational Therapy and has been a Pampered Chef Kitchen Consultant since February 1998. Previous experience includes positions at NAADA from 1990 to 2014, as well as management roles in the food service industry at BBQ South Inc. and ARA Dining Services. Education includes a PhD and a Master's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from Clemson University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education from the same institution.
