Oliver Myers

Oliver Myers has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as the Special Assistant to the Dean for Student Success and a Professor at Clemson University since August 2014. Additionally, Oliver holds the position of Associate Dean for Inclusive Excellence in Undergraduate Studies and has been an Associate Professor. Prior experience includes a tenure at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where involvement with the Meyerhoff Program took place, and at Mississippi State University, where Oliver progressed from Assistant to Associate Professor from 2008 to August 2014. Prior to academia, Oliver worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation from November 2000 to July 2008. Education credentials include a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, completed in December 2007, along with studies at North Carolina State University and Gwynn Park High School.
