Sam Hoover

Sam Hoover has extensive experience in mobile development, currently serving as the Director of Mobile Development and Information Architect at Clemson University since November 2005. Previous roles at Clemson University include Manager of Mobile Development, Mobile Application Developer, IT Systems Architect, Systems Programmer II, and Systems Programmer I, focusing on native iOS, Android, and mobile web development, as well as Linux/Unix system administration. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Automation and Staff Software Engineer at Motorola. Sam Hoover holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University, attained between 1992 and 1996, and studied at the University of Florida from 1981 to 1983.
