Tyler Harvey

Tyler Harvey, PhD, currently serves as the Faculty Senate President-Elect and Senior Lecturer at Clemson University, where tenure began in June 2011. Harvey has held various academic positions, including Lecturer, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Research interests include image processing and machine vision, computational modeling of biological systems, and engineering education. Additional experience includes roles as Curriculum Developer and Program Coordinator at the South Carolina Governor's School for Science & Mathematics, and Tutor at Tri-County Technical College. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, a Graduate Certificate in Engineering and Science Education, and a B.S. in Bioengineering from Clemson University, along with a high school diploma from the South Carolina Governor's School for Science & Mathematics.
