Lauren Bond serves as the Head of Delivery at CLES - Centre for Local Economic Strategies, a role held since June 2021. With a strong background in local economic development, Lauren has previously worked as a Senior Researcher focused on the West Midlands, where responsibilities included managing key partnerships and projects. Lauren coordinated the Sandwell Anchor Network, leading initiatives to redirect public sector procurement to local businesses. Additionally, Lauren has experience as an Interim Strategic Lead for Inclusive Growth with the West Midlands Combined Authority, part-time since February 2024. Prior roles include Graduate Management Trainee at Sandwell Council, Engagement Officer at the University of Exeter, and various positions within the Labour Party and private sector organizations. Lauren holds a BA in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
