Linda Floyd

Linda Floyd has extensive experience in library and administrative roles spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Library Assistant at the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library since March 2024, Linda has previously held positions such as Administrative Assistant at the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association and Interim Library Director at the Chattooga County Library System. Linda's notable leadership roles include Director of the Livingston Library at Shorter University, where responsibilities included overseeing library operations for a university with approximately 2,400 students, and Director of the Northwest Georgia Regional Library, which served a population of 209,000. Linda's career began with Technical Services at Berry College, transitioning through various librarianship positions, and includes a deep commitment to fostering information literacy and library services. Linda holds a Master of Library and Information Science from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University.
