Joseph McCoy

Joseph Q. McCoy serves as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Cleveland Avenue since May 2015, and has held the role of Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer and Outside General Counsel. McCoy is also a Board Member of Beatclub, Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace, and The CAFE Group, where the position at The CAFE Group includes Chair of the Nominating & Governance Committee. As a retired partner at Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP, McCoy was previously the Equity Partner and Business Transactions Practice Lead. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Partner and Chair of the Airport Concessions Practice at Bryan Cave, and founding and managing Legacy Sports Management LLC as a certified agent. McCoy has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law from 2010 to 2020. Educational qualifications include a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a combined BA/MA in Public Policy and Education from the University of Chicago.
