- In 17 NFL seasons, his teams have won 12 division titles, five conference championships and three Super Bowls (XLIX, LI and LIII).

- Spent 2019 as the offensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins. After starting the year 0-7, the Dolphins went 5-4 in their final nine games. Helped WR DeVante Parker finish among the NFL leaders in receiving yards (fifth in NFL with 1,202) and touchdowns (fourth in NFL with nine).

- Spent 10 years (2009-18) in New England as the team's wide receivers coach.
