Megan Dean

Megan Dean, PHR has a comprehensive work experience that spans over several years. Megan began their career with Connections Academy in 2007 as a Human Resources Coordinator, where they were responsible for HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, and tracking employee leaves. Megan also provided support to the HR Director, Recruiter, and Payroll Specialist. In 2007, they joined AWP, Inc. as a Human Resources Specialist, where they handled workers' compensation claims and assisted with safety policy development. Megan later took on the role of Safety Administrator, responsible for administering the Drug Free Workplace Program and assisting the Safety Director. In 2011, Megan joined the Cleveland Cavaliers as the Director of Benefits & Wellness. In this role, they led a team in creating a competitive benefits package and integrating wellness into the company culture. Megan focused on attracting and retaining top talent while elevating benefit offerings to align with employee and family needs.

Megan Dean, PHR, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Akron, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
