Akhil Mohan

Akhil Mohan is a Research Associate at Cleveland Clinic since May 2019, working in Dr. Ela Plow's laboratory to investigate non-invasive brain stimulation therapies for severe upper extremity hemiplegia post-stroke. Previously, Akhil served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the same lab, leading research on combined therapies for the same condition. Akhil has also recently held the position of Quantum Residency Fellow at IBM, focusing on developing quantum machine learning models for healthcare. Akhil's experience includes research and teaching roles at CHRISTIAN MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, and involvement in visiting research positions at notable institutions such as Lady Willingdon Hospital and Imperial College London. Akhil holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Devices and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and possesses a Master of Science in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Biomedical.
