Deborah Venesy

Deborah Venesy is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as a Senior Staff Physician at the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Spine Health within the Neurologic Institute since August 1999. Additionally, Deborah holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Deborah has recently completed terms as President and Past President of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). Prior to these roles, Deborah served as a Senior Staff Physician at The Ohio State University Spine Center and had a private practice as a PMR physician. Earlier in the career, Deborah was the Medical Director for the Interdisciplinary Chronic Pain Management Program at The Ohio State University. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wright State University, a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University, and an internship at Mount Carmel Health System.
