Edward Gisemba is an Epidemiologist at the Cleveland Department of Public Health since October 2021. Prior to this, Edward served as the Director of Health Promotion for Students and Assistant Dean of Students at Oberlin College from October 2017 to June 2021 and held the position of Assistant Director of Wellness Programs and Pool Faculty at Sam Houston State University from January 2012 to October 2017. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health & Population Health Research from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biomedical Humanities from Hiram College. Additional experience includes roles with the Shaker Prevention Coalition and Case Western Reserve University, as well as counseling positions in various educational settings.
