Amber Titus, PhD has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. At Kent State University, they were a Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant, and Resident Assistant. In 2018, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Currently, they are a Scientist at Cleveland Diagnostics, Inc. where they design and characterizes novel aqueous two-phase systems (ATPSs) using polymers and low molecular weight additives, detects structural changes in proteins using partitioning in ATPSs, and develops new clinical tests for detection of cancer and other diseases based on structural protein biomarkers.

Amber Titus holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cell Biology from Kent State University, which they obtained in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Cell/Molecular Biology from Kent State University in 2017.
