April Leaver, CPC has over 20 years of experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement. April began their career in 1998 as a Medical Billing Instructor at Dover Business College, where they developed course curriculum, determined reference materials, and selected textbooks. April then worked as a Patient Accounts Manager at Morristown Cardiology Associates, PA from 1999 to 2008, where they performed revenue cycle management for eight-physician interventional and non-interventional cardiology practice. In 2008, they began working as an Independent Consultant and Healthcare Consultant- Revenue Cycle Management & Coding for large healthcare practices and clinical laboratories. April then worked as a Business Office Manager at Urology Group of New Jersey from 2009 to 2013, where they performed revenue cycle management for 29-physician urology practice with 9 care centers. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as Coding Manager/Quality Assurance Manager at Premier Healthcare Exchange PHX, responsible for managing the appeal process for a rapidly growing healthcare cost-containment company. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as Director, Revenue Cycle Management at inSync Healthcare Solutions, responsible for overseeing the direction and execution of Revenue Cycle Management for national RCM company with clients of varied specialties. April is currently working as Director of Billing and Reimbursement at Interpace Diagnostics since 2017 and Director of Billing & Reimbursement at Cleveland Diagnostics, Inc. since 2021.

April Leaver earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Centenary University in the field of Business. April also holds certifications as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the AAPC and as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
