Jeffrey D. Johnson

Jeffrey D. Johnson is a legal professional and public servant with extensive experience in the judiciary and political consulting. Currently serving as Judge-Elect for the Cleveland Municipal Court since November 2023, Jeffrey previously operated as the owner of Jeff Johnson, Attorney At Law, LLC from March 2018 to November 2023 and owned The Prime Strategy Group, LLC, a political consulting firm, from January 2006 to November 2023. In addition to these roles, Jeffrey held various positions including Court Administrator and Chief Housing Specialist at Cleveland Housing Court, and City Councilman for the City of Cleveland. Other notable roles include Executive Director of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, Director of the Department of Community Relations for the City of Cleveland, and Ohio State Senator. Jeffrey obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Kent State University.
