Jamie L. Mason

Jamie L. Mason has extensive work experience in the library field. They are currently serving as the Chief of CLEVNET at the Cleveland Public Library since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the Rocky River Public Library from November 2014 to December 2022, first as the Director and then as the Deputy Director. At the Avon Lake Public Library, they worked as the Technology Manager from February 2003 to January 2009. Jamie also gained experience at the Cleveland Public Library as a Practicum Student in the Fine Arts Department from January 2007 to May 2007. Before entering the library field, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Management Assistance, Inc from September 2000 to January 2003, and as a Systems Administrator at Acme Express, Inc from July 1998 to August 2000. They started their career as a Customer Support Representative at Eureka Networks, Inc from October 1997 to June 1998.

Jamie L. Mason has an extensive education history. Jamie L. pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Cleveland State University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, they attended Lorain County Community College and earned their Associate of Science degree in Biology. Jamie then completed their high school education at Keystone High School, where they obtained an Honors Diploma from 1992 to 1996. Finally, they furthered their education by completing a Masters degree in Library & Information Science at Kent State University from 2004 to 2007.
