Sherita Gatewood

Law Enforcement Liasion/advocate at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center

Sherita Gatewood has extensive experience in the fields of mental health and victim advocacy, currently serving as a Homicide Response Counselor at the Shelby County Government Crime Victim Center since October 2013. Sherita also holds the position of Law Enforcement Liaison/Advocate at the Rape Crisis Center, a role undertaken since October 2009, after being promoted to Full Time Advocate under Shelby County Government. Previous experience includes working as a Law Enforcement Liaison for MSARC with Shelby County Government and as a CRCS Counselor/Prevention for Positive Specialist at Friends for Life Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Memphis.
