Roel de Jonge

Roel de Jonge has a diverse work experience in the field of design and visual communication. Roel started their career as an intern and motion graphic designer at The Village / Twisted, where they worked on various motion graphic productions for clients such as Philips and Mars. In 2008, they joined Schwandt Infographics as an intern, where they focused on motion graphics and interaction design. Roel later worked as an art director at Schwandt Infographics, where they were responsible for structuring complex information and abstract processes for clients including Akzo Nobel and Wageningen University. Roel also has experience as a VJ, collaborating and performing live on stage with their own software. Most recently, since 2016, they have been working as a lead designer at CLEVER°FRANKE, specializing in designing interactive data experiences. Throughout their career, Roel has demonstrated a focus on delivering effective design solutions and considering the target audience.

Roel de Jonge completed a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Multimedia Design from Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they studied Mediatechnology at Leiden University from 2008 to 2009. Roel'ssecondary education was at Zwijsen College, where they completed havo in the beta field from 1998 to 2003.
