Director Of Wireless Communications at Clever Devices

Paul Dennis has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Paul started their career at Aether Systems in 2000, where they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer for two years. In 2000, Paul also joined Orbital Sciences Corporation as a Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer, and they remained with the company until 2008. During this time, they gained valuable experience in embedded software engineering.

In 2008, Paul joined ACS as the Supervisor of Engineering. In this role, they were responsible for the development of a CAD/AVL system used in transit vehicles, as well as managing the SmartMDT product enhancements and feature additions. Paul worked at ACS until 2010.

From 2010 to 2013, Paul worked at Panasonic Automotive Systems as a Senior Lead Embedded Software Engineer. Paul played a key role in the creation of the CCR platform and led individual teams in the implementation, validation, and field testing of the infotainment radio system.

Currently, Paul is employed at Clever Devices as the Director of Wireless Communications. Paul oversees all software design, development, releases, and FROP. As a director, they are responsible for defining system and software interfaces for end-to-end solutions involving DMR, LMR, and VOIP technologies.

Paul Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Paul then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in System Engineering from Strayer University-Maryland, where they studied from 1997 to 1999.
