Michel Pilet has a wealth of experience in marketing and communications. Michel began their career in 2004 as a Management Trainee and Marketer at Rabobank. After completing an intensive one-year Management Development Program, they then acted as a marketing and communications adviser to the board of a large regional bank. In 2007, they took on the role of Senior Marketer at Vodafone, where they were responsible for market launches of mobile voice and data propositions. From 2010 to 2012, they held two positions: Owner & Founder at MarCom Gilde, and Manager B2B Marketing Communications at Liberty Global. Michel then became Director B2B Marketing and Communications at Liberty Global in 2012. In 2015, they founded clevergig, a Software as a Service (SaaS) that allows B2B firms to easily schedule workers and track time across several clients and locations. In 2020, they began hosting the Eyewitness podcast, and in 2022 they took on the role of Coach at calm.ceo.

Michel Pilet began their education in 1990 at Jeanne d'Arc College, where they completed an Atheneum in VWO. Michel then attended Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Commercial Economics. In 2000, Michel Pilet began their Masters in Business Economics, Marketing at Maastricht University, which they completed in 2004. That same year, they attended a Summer Course in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, Michel Pilet earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at the EuroMBA Consortium.
