Alex Marcelo

Alex Marcelo has over 23 years of work experience. Currently, they serve as a Senior Software QA Tester at Click Therapeutics, Inc. Alex joined the company in June 2021. Prior to this, Alex worked at Beta Breakers from January 2020 to June 2021 as a Software Development Engineer in Test, and from August 2003 to January 2020 as a Quality Assurance Engineer. In October and November 2020, they worked as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at PathCheck Foundation. Alex also has experience working at Adobe, where they served as a Quality Assurance Engineer from June 2009 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked at Sony Entertainment as an Online Format QA Test from August 2002 to April 2003, at Mattel Interactive as an Assistant Producer from June 2000 to March 2001, at Mindscape Entertainment as a Production Assistant from May 1999 to June 2000, and at Strategic Simulations, Inc. as a Lead Tester from August 1998 to May 1999.

Alex Marcelo attended the College of Marin from 1993 to 2008, where they obtained an A.A in Business Management, an A.S. in Entrepreneurial Studies, and a degree in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained various certifications in fields such as emotional intelligence, Java programming, JavaScript, SQL programming, test automation, and performance testing. These certifications were obtained through LinkedIn and span from 2020 to 2022.
