Previously, Araiza held the position of Assistant News Director at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. and Showrunner/Executive Producer at BNC. With extensive experience in news and content production, Araiza has successfully led initiatives such as the Super Bowl multi-platform coverage plan and transformed team culture to boost ratings and strengthen brand identity. As News Director at TEGNA's NBC affiliates in Maine, Araiza enhanced digital content and storytelling while implementing innovative newscast formats. Araiza's career at NBC10 | WCAU-TV spanned over two decades, where significant contributions included launching a digital team and introducing original investigative content. Araiza holds a Liberal Arts degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, along with further education from the University of Houston.
