- Lead and manage the revenue accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
- Oversee commission accounting processes and ensure they are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue accounting procedures, including Sales, Legal, FP&A and Rev Ops teams.
- Provide leadership and guidance on complex revenue transactions and contract reviews.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls over the revenue accounting process.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports related to revenue.
- Stay abreast of industry changes in revenue accounting standards and implement necessary updates to company practices.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in revenue accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Experience leading a revenue accounting function in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and its application in revenue accounting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficient in using accounting software and systems.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
