Ryan Suydam

CEO at Client Savvy

Ryan Suydam is the CEO of Client Savvy, a position they have held since the company's inception in 2004. Prior to that, they were the Director of Technology at Phillips Architecture from April 2000 to February 2004.

Suydam began their career at Phillips Architecture as an intern, but quickly rose through the ranks due to their focus on the tools and technology that enabled the company to operate and grow. After identifying several critical and common failure points, they developed a budget and ROI calculation to secure leadership buy-in on long-term solutions. Within one year, measured lost productivity decreased over 90%, validating the ROI and investment in technology. By effectively diverting IT spending into solutions rather than repairs, overall IT budget actually decreased.

These processes created a sustainable high-availability infrastructure that has enabled Phillips Architecture to consistently meet client needs and deadlines. The systematic approach to high-value, high-performing solutions has enabled subsequent generations of IT providers to maintain incredibly high standards of service delivery year after year.

Suydam also brought in a focus on the human aspects of technology delivery - setting up best practices that helped people first, and their technology second. Employee satisfaction and morale related to tools and technology increased every year.

In 2004, Suydam and Phillips Architecture president Mike Phillips developed and spun off Client Feedback Tool, after which Suydam served as an adviser to the management team while maintaining close ties to the firm.

Blake Godwin - President, Ryanne Nelson - Operations Manager, and Rabia Omer - Data Scientist & Application Support report to Ryan Suydam.
