Christopher Gunther

Christopher Gunther is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and investment. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Asset Management at Cliffwater since August 2025, Christopher previously held a partnership position at HPS Investment Partners, LLC from June 2018 to June 2025. Prior to that, a partnership role at Warburg Pincus LLC was undertaken from February 2014 to June 2018. Christopher's career began at Providence Equity Partners, where a Managing Director role was held from May 2000 to February 2014. Christopher is an alumnus of Stanford University.
