Bruno Jochum

Bruno Jochum serves as the Executive Director of The Climate Action Accelerator since December 2020, leading a non-profit initiative aimed at fostering global climate action by assisting mid-level organizations in achieving a 50% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030. Previous experience includes an Executive in Residence role at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, where research and lectures focused on climate and global challenges during the incubation phase of the Climate Action Accelerator. Jochum has an extensive career with Médecins Sans Frontières, holding positions such as Director General and Country Director, alongside roles in local government as Chief of the Bureau for Economic Affairs and Local Development. Educational credentials encompass a Breakthrough Programme for Senior Executives at IMD and multiple degrees in political science and international law from esteemed institutions including Université de Lorraine and University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
