Michael Silberman serves as a Principal at Agora Futures, providing advisory services to nonprofits, philanthropies, and private sector organizations on technology and social change. Silberman is actively involved with the National Science Foundation as a grant reviewer, focusing on responsible technology and climate resiliency. Moreover, Silberman works with UNICEF's Frontier Data Tech Unit to enhance data science applications in humanitarian efforts. Additional roles include board memberships with Oxfam America, Climate Advocacy Lab, and The Story of Stuff Project. As the founder and global director of Mobilisation Lab, Silberman improved the capabilities of civil society organizations through innovative technologies and training methodologies. Past experience includes teaching at George Washington University and leading digital mobilization efforts at Greenpeace. Silberman holds a Master of Law and Technology from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Middlebury College.
